A pity there was only two puppies. Graduate Class 2 entries 1 abs 1st Walton's Telpoolwyn Yushua - Very nice chap to start with, good head, correct planes and width of skull, used his ears. Very good neck well laid shoulder, exc front and topline and drove well from strong quarters, is maturing nicely. Post Graduate 4 entries 1 abs 1st Davies Tapatina Fechin at Ronleydon - Well balanced dog masculine head good neck and topline, would like slightly less crook but otherwise is soundly constructed and moved out freely. 2nd Sadler's Simonsville Fiery Fred - Gave his handler a hard time and wouldn't use his ears or he might have won. Such a fidget but I got a glimpse every now and then of a well made dog with dark pigment correct front and topline and a well set and carried tail. Moved out briskly. 3rd Bancroft's Hotpot Boycie by Cheinban Limit Dog 4 entries 1st Simpson's Simonsville Hurley - Flat skull of good width and well set ears, dark eye and pigmented markings, good neck well set on to level topline. Well angulated quarters and full of himself on the move. 2nd Dawes Lancypat Just Bobby - Attractive head and expression, lighter tan and tighter tail, well sprung ribs very firm muscular loin, good croup and quarter, moved out well. 3rd Green's Doddsline Mr Sam
Open Dog 7 entries 1 abs (Lovely class of quality dogs) 1st Cartledge & Lord's Ch Foxthyme Oliver Cromwell ShCM - Beautiful Liver & Tan, he caught my eye straight away. stunning outline using his neck and ears at all times. Firm topline & croup, but his many qualities could not be denied - kept his outline on the move and dominated the ring with his showmanship. Best of Breed 2nd Jones' Ch Welshmoor Father Jack - Not disgraced here and close up, very typey, masculine head, well sprung ribs and well muscled all through. Strong Croup and second thighs giving plenty of drive. Rest Best Dog 3rd Gordon's Troutop Rolo - Another one of excellent type and construction, very good head, forehand and topline - unluckly to meet the two above. Veteran Dog 5 entries 2 abs 1st Reid's Doddsline Sparkey - Well names at 13 years old has lost none of his vigour. Lovely head and eye showing plenty of character. Well bodied with good angulation and strong quarters. Best Veteran Puppy Bitch 3 entries 1st Jones' Jnanas Winifred Fechan (NAF) - Lovely little liver and tan baby at her first show. Just six months and took a while to feel her feet but ended up quite the showgirl. Sweet expression, very good front and topline. Excellent outline and eventually decided the floor was OK and moved out nicely. Best Puppy 2nd Simpson's Haile Jade - Older puppy with very good head and body. Neck well set into shoulders, unsettled in topline on the move, but good tail set and carriage, promising. Res Best Puppy Junior Bitch 3 entries 1 abs 1st Lord's Foxthyme Te Anau - Only 13 months but very promising, she ticks all the boxes and only needs maturity. Richly pigmented, feminine head with parallel planes and well caried ears. Correct in front, level topline, well angulated with good tail set and ex movement 2nd Bancroft's Leyeside Miss Tique by Cheinban - Attractive head and expression, well set ears, paler in tan with well sprung ribs and firm topline. Not the tail carriage of winner but moved out freely. Graduate Bitch 3 entries 1st Taylor's Ronleydon Amber Sunshine over Tapatina - Alert and showing off her sound construction to advantage, level topline, nice width of croup and bend of stifle and move very well. 2nd Davies Ronleydon Amber Beebee - Close up to winner and of similar type. Wasn't using her ears and neck to advantage, but when she stood up and showed looked a different bitch and her movement was sound and free. 3rd Duxbury's Tapatina Delyth Post Graduate Bitch 5 entries 1st Tatlor's Ronleydon Amber Sunshine over Tapatina - repeat 2nd Simpson's Belinda Bell by Simonsville - nice overall shape soundly constructed, a bit fidgety and didn't put all in or might have done better. Excelled in topline, quarters and moved freely. 3rd Spooner's Audaxus Ma Cherie Rhea - Very smart little bitch, nice overall shape and balance using her ears. Very good side movement but untidy in front, good quarters and bend of stifle. Limit Bitch 3 entries 1st Taylor's Simonsville Yule Time - the more I looked at this girl the better she appeared Nothing flashy, but everything in perfect proportion, very good forechest, ribbing and topline. Well bent stifle with muscular 2nd thigh of good width and well carried tail. Moves a bit wide behind but good profile movement and was well deserved Reserve Best Bitch. 2nd Gordon's Troutop Norman - Scored in head and expression, well shaped dark eyes and correct earset. Good neck and forehand with well placed elbows...Just needs more hind angulation to enhance her profile movement, but went true fore and aft. 3rd Duxbury's Tapatina Delyth Open Bitch 7 entries 2 abs 1st Lord's Ch Foxthyme Eliza - quality bitch feminine head of good length and parallel planes. Excelled in neck and forehand and beautifully balanced all through. Firm topline and nicely angulated quarters. Well ribbed with broad croup and sound movement. Best Bitch 2nd Simpson's Simonsville Anya May - Strongly build and sound all through. If she had put all in she might have pushed harder as she has many good qualities and little to fault. Pleased in forehand, body and quarters and moved soundly. 3rd Bancroft's Hotpot Kiddle Cate by Cheinban Veteran Bitch 5 entries 1 abs 1st Cartledge's Ch Leonine Ivy of Ryslip - Loved this girl's head and expression, she dares you to ignore her, clear bright eyes, erect well placed ears. Strong muzzle and correct stop. Neck flows smoothly into well laid shoulder; good spring of rib and strong quarters. Good topline standing but lost it slightly on the move, but at 12 years she stood out here and moved with great freedom. 2nd Gordon's Troutop Gloria - 8 years young and in excellent shape. Excellent front with firm elbows and well sprung ribs and correct height to length ratio. Just losing her underline slightly to middle age spread, but went well with strong drive. 3rd Lagonegro's Davigar Lady Padme at Giandani Special Open Liver & Tan Dor/Bitch 1st Taylor's Simonsville Yule Time repeat Joy Smith Memorial Open Stakes 7 entries 2 abs 1st Taylor'sSimonsville Yule Time repeat 2nd Jones' Ch Doddsline Daffodil at Welshmoor - Very nice type, good head planes and strong jaw. All male, super expression, could easily see him doing the job he was meant for. Strong muscular quarters, firm topline and well sprung ribs. Correct angulation and tailset.
